MARKETING MANAGER

Full-time | In-office / Work from home split

You'll be developing creative marketing initiatives for finders' and our clients' services and products. You're excited about the start-up phase and willing to get hands-on with multiple aspects of marketing and sales to help grow the business. You're an entrepreneurial spirit who's able to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.

IN DETAIL

The Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, developing, and executing Finders’ marketing initiatives. In Finders' start-up phase, the Marketing Manager will report directly to the CEO. This role's primary responsibilities are to create lead generation and cost-effectively deliver customer acquisition and sales for Finders and our clients through various marketing efforts. You will be hands on with creative marketing strategy, data analysis, brand awareness, social strategy and engagement, product and services sales, and more. As the company grows, your role will adapt into helping scale marketing and sales processes while building and overseeing a marketing and sales team.

THE WORK

  • Ensure effectiveness of product and services marketing, growth marketing, lead generation, creative, brand awareness, and PR functions.

  • Oversee all aspects of marketing to ensure we meet customer acquisition, and CAC goals.

  • Optimize Product-Market fit with product-led growth initiatives.

  • Build sales processes.

  • Build a high performing, highly engaged Marketing team: Set the vision for a high performing Marketing organization.

  • Attract Finders’ target market and customers.

  • Be an expert in Lifecycle Marketing and confidently lead teams to direct customers to the best ways to Collect Leads, Convert Clients and Create Fans in their businesses.

  • Assist with Product and Sales. Develop pricing using market analysis.

  • Communicate effectively to customers and stakeholders. Manage the relationship with your customers and all cross-functional stakeholders. Track challenges so we can improve. 

  • Lead the executive team in matters of Marketing. Provide market insights to executives and help the company’s senior leadership better serve the market and our customers.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • 7+ years experience in marketing, growth marketing, and product marketing.

  • Significant experience and success marketing to small business owners and large brands.

  • Prior experience in a strategic role owning positioning, messaging, pricing, and competitive analysis.

  • Strong technical depth and ability to learn quickly, balanced with sharp business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit.

  • People-focused leader with proven ability to build creative, collaborative teams that achieve success.

  • Excellent collaboration and organizational skills, excelling at both high-level thinking and execution.

  • Strong leadership background, with strengths in decisiveness, courage and compassion.

  • Deep connection to entrepreneurial small businesses and passionate about empowering entrepreneurs.

  • Analytics and testing expertise and heavy Performance Marketing/Conversion Rate Optimization experience.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Can own multiple marketing projects from digital campaigns to event activations, and oversee ongoing, multi season campaigns, understanding their relationship to the overall marketing strategy.

  • Crafts stories and build brands through campaign level thinking and execution.

  • Identifies conceptual and strategic marketing direction for various projects, and clearly presents those ideas to the team and the client.

  • Inclusive to all walks of life and value differing points of view.

  • Collaborate with Media team to align creative concepts and executions of creative.

  • Reviews and understands the creative brief to assure concepts align with strategy.

  • Identify and remain current on industry trends and technology.

  • Has a portfolio filled with digital, integrated and cross platform campaigns.

  • Is an extremely strong leader who can manage multiple clients and projects.

  • Has a proven track record in both product and campaign work.

  • Has strong leadership and mediation skills, and enjoys mentoring and fostering the growth of team members

  • Is comfortable collaborating with people from different creatives disciplines and teams.

  • Has ample experience working with and presenting to clients at all levels.

  • Has outstanding oral, written, and presentation skills.

  • Can look at corporate brands from a fresh angle​.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • 5+ years in an Ad agency 

  • Portfolio / case studies to be submitted with your application.

  • Fluency in current advertising, design, and fashion trends.

  • Senior marketing leadership

  • Domain expertise in small business sales and marketing software

  • Expertise in segmenting the small business market

  • Domain expertise in small business growth

  • Experience working in or owning a small business

  • Knowledge of CRM and marketing automation technologies and methodologies

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related area; MBA preferred​​
